Everything You Need to Know Before You Stay
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is available from 4:00–8:00 PM, when our on-site manager will be there to greet you. If you're arriving outside of those hours, no worries — you'll receive a secure access code so you can check in on your own schedule. And guests can enjoy a leisurely 12 pm check-out when it’s time to depart.
Can I book a single room, or does it have to be the whole house?
Currently, we are only booking single rooms. However, if your party is interested in reserving the whole house, please email donna@restonmain.com.
Is Rest on Main ADA accessible?
Yes. Room 101 is located on the first floor and is accessible by a ramp that leads from our paved driveway and directly into the room via a private, enclosed porch. Our second-floor rooms (201, 202, and 204) are accessible by stairs.
Do you offer breakfast?
We do not currently offer breakfast, though we are working on special packages for celebrations and special occasions. Stay tuned for updates!
What is your cancellation policy?

Are pets allowed?
No. As much as we adore four-legged friends, we do not allow pets at Rest on Main.
Is smoking allowed on the property?
We do have outdoor areas designated for smoking.
What's nearby?
Rest on Main is a short stroll away from a coffee shop, a tea room, antique stores, and the historic Capitol Theater. For outdoor adventure, the Nolichucky River and Appalachian Trail access points are just minutes away, along with hiking, rafting, and some of the best mountain views in northeast Tennessee. Do I need a reservation, or can I just walk in?
Reservations are recommended, especially during peak seasons like AppleFest and fall foliage, when rooms fill up quickly.
Is there parking available on-site?
Yes, Rest on Main offers a large paved driveway with a carport as well as a paved parking lot. There is also an adjacent gravel lot for overflow parking. We welcome guests with RVs, campers, and trailers. We have plenty of room.
